Extending the Life of Legacy Systems. The X.25 Protocol Converter provides a mechanism for allowing legacy systems to continue to utilize databases and data sources (transaction-based systems), after the end of life (EOL) has been reached for particular products. Connections between non-IP enabled systems, may continue to utilize corresponding XML- and WEB-based data resources, without any upgrades, via the X.25 converter. Such as to create an extension of the life of legacy systems, each X.25 Converter Console supports 16 simultaneous connections to web-based, ODBC-based, and XML-based databases. The Converter Console maintains all communications and protocol conversions, and provides full accounting and user management functions.
